Why this blog? #
The main material of eeame is the git repository git, the blog follows the calendar without the “practical” parts. Each day is linked to an org file in the repo. The goal of the blog is to give visibility to the project.
eeame is not
- emacs for kids;
- a course on emacs;
- a series of tutorials.
However, there are 24 compact posts surrounding Emacs and its ecosystem specifically designed for inquisitive adolescents, extending a welcoming invitation to promote cross-generational conversations about commonplace computer practices.
This blog also provides a (small) contribution to the francophone documentation around emacs and org-mode.
Install #
The recommended version of emacs is the latest stable one.
Regarding configuration, my advice is: “your emacs : your config!”.
I have written a script to easily replicate my eeame install, it’s available here: install.org. The configuration of emacs is also available:init.org and custom.el.
The dependencies of the project are described here .
